今回の新機種でカメラが付いたことは、利用範囲を大きく広げる要素です。前々からiPodtouchのカメラ機能は熱望されていました。前回の機種で装備されるとのうわさもあったけど実際には今回の機種に先送りしたようです。
また、ディスプレイ解像度が倍になったのも大きな変更要素でした。前面には出ていませんが、そのためのハードスペックアップも利用者にとっては、大きな魅力の一つです。
